Chelsea confirmed on Monday the signing of Caleb Wiley, a United States international.

Willey joins Chelsea as their fifth summer signing, following Renato Veiga's arrival last week.

Chelsea stated on their website, "Chelsea is pleased to announce the signing of United States international Caleb Wiley."

"Welcome to Chelsea, Caleb!"

Wiley is now in Paris with the US Men's Soccer Team, preparing to compete in the 2024 Olympics.

The left-back joins the Premier League club from MLS team Atlanta United.

The 19-year-old agreed to a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge, with a club option for an additional year.
