Real Madrid confirmed on Tuesday that Fabien Causeur, a basketball player, has departed the club after his contract expired.

In a statement on their website, the Spanish club expressed gratitude, admiration, and affection for Causeur's dedication and good conduct over the course of his seven seasons with them.

Causeur won 14 championships while at Madrid, including two European Cups, four League titles, two Copas del Rey, and six Spanish Super Cups.

He appeared 486 times for Real Madrid, ranking third all-time among foreign players on the club's basketball team.

"Real Madrid wishes him and his family all the best in this new stage of their lives," the statement added.
