NPFL transfer: Anaemena returns to Remo Stars from Abia Warriors

Ifeanyi Anaemena, an experienced defender, has returned to Remo Stars for a second term, according to TalkTalk Nigeria.

The Sky Blue Stars confirmed Anaemena's comeback on their X account.

"He's Back, Centre back, Ifeanyi Anaemena returns for another spell with the club ahead of the 2024-25 NPFL season." The team stated on X.com.

Anaemena joined the Sky Blue Stars from the Abia Warriors.

The centre-back previously played for Remo Stars during the 2022/23 season.

He helped Daniel Ogunmodede's team finish second that season.

His experience will be extremely valuable for the Ikenne team, particularly in the CAF Champions League.
