Deola provides luxurious audio experience for fans with new EP, 'Dangerous'

Deola Adeola Adisa, commonly known by her stage name, Deola, is an Afrobeats artist born in Nigeria and resides in Houston, Texas -United States.

Having been doing music for 12 years here are more things you should know about Deola who released her EP, Dangerous July 25th 2024.


1. She is musically inspired by the likes of Sade Adu, Lagbaja, Tiwa Savage, and Niniola. Drawing inspirations from these music acts is one of the reasons why her unique sound is not commonly heard of in the music industry

2. By carving a niche in multiple Afrobeats sub genres, she describes her sound as a Afro Fusion, Afro House and Afro Soul. Each of these sounds unique to its own , makes her songwriting process unique.

3. Her EP, Dangerous is a 5 track EP each with different sounds. In her own words, “it is a unique blend of Afrobeats, Jazz, House, and Amapiano styles. These 5 tracks include “Olulufe, Bad Intentions ft Minz, Sofunmi, Dangerous, Bhad”.

Just 48 hours since the EP dropped, it has received playlisting support from streaming platforms from the likes of Apple Music and Spotify.

4. Produced and developed in Lagos Nigeria and Houston Texas, The "Dangerous" EP combines elegant, sexy, and luxurious vibes found in American RnB and House music but with a distinct African/afrobeat inspired twist, resulting in anorgasmic audio experience that many fans will grow to love. From infectious house dance vibes, afro-inspired jazz.
