Riccardo Calafiori, Arsenal's latest addition, will wear the number 33 shirt.

The Gunners confirmed Calafiori's arrival from Bologna on Monday evening.

"Calafiori has a big personality and character, with specific skills which will make us stronger as we push to win major trophies" .

"His progression and development over the last year has been very impressive," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta told the club's website.

The Italian defender, who impressed at Euro 2024, will cost Arsenal €50 million (£42.1 million) in transfer fees.

The 22-year-old can play either in the center of defense or on the left.
