Mason Greenwood, a Manchester United forward, arrived at the club's Carrington base on Monday but did not train with the team.

Greenwood's future with the Premier League team is uncertain after he was suspended in January 2022.

This followed charges of rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault resulting in actual bodily harm to his partner.

Although Greenwood's charges were cleared in February 2023, he was loaned to Getafe in La Liga last summer.

He is likely to relocate permanently now that the transfer window is open again.
After his loan expired, Greenwood reported to Carrington on Monday.

According to The Athletic, Greenwood was there to negotiate his release from Old Trafford.

The 22-year-old departed without joining the rest of the team on the turf.
