Arsenal suffer a double injury blow as two players miss their last preseason game.

Jurrien Timber and Fabio Vieira did not play in Arsenal's final pre-season game of the summer against Lyon.

The Premier League team revealed that both players missed out due to "slight" ailments.

The Gunners' 2024/2025 season begins next Saturday against Wolves.

But on Sunday, they defeated Lyon 2-0 in the Emirates Cup.

Mikel Arteta chose a strong starting lineup, including England's Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka.

However, Vieira missed out on a hip issue because to Timber's battle, which was termed as a "slight" foot condition.
