Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United's captain, has agreed to a new deal until June 2027 with the Premier League team.

The new contract will pay him a "salary at top level" inside the organization.

Fernandes, who joined Old Trafford in January 2020, is expected to sign before the summer transfer window closes.
Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer analyst, reported this on Sunday.

Romano stated on X: "EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United and Bruno Fernandes have struck an agreement to extend his contract!

"The new contract will be valid until June 2027, with an option for an additional season, June 2028, at the top #MUFC compensation level.

"All is set to be signed before the end of the summer window."
