Rapper Rick Ross sued for not making the show wheelchair accessible for the disabled.

Rick Ross, an American rapper and record entrepreneur, has been sued for not making his event wheelchair accessible.

Darris Straughter, a crippled man, sued the artist after he failed to make his annual Car & Bike Show accessible to disabled spectators.

Straughter claimed that despite purchasing a ticket and preparing for travel and housing, he was unable to attend the event at Ross' 235-acre estate known as 'The Promised Land' in Fayetteville, Georgia.

The plaintiff, who has been paralyzed since suffering a catastrophic spinal cord injury in 2018, notified the event organizers two weeks in advance of his requirements.

Straughter also claims that the exhibition organizers promised reimbursements to everyone who was unable to attend the event, but he received no follow-up or compensation.

Straughter, represented by attorney John Hoover Esq., is now suing Rick Ross for breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and violating the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

However, the complaint wants both damages and a court order requiring future car events to offer proper disability access.
