God encouraged me to curate purely Christian playlists—DJ Cuppy

Florence Otedola, often known as DJ Cuppy, a Nigerian disc jockey, has recounted her experience merging her faith with her passion for 'DJing'.


The singer, who was just baptized, admitted that she was originally worried about producing a list of purely Christian songs, but God guided her through it.

Cuppy expressed thankfulness for the opportunity to serve God via her music, posting photographs of herself singing at an event on Instagram.

She added, "I had the RARE opportunity to do the two things I most enjoy: DJing and serving God. What a blessing! Thank you for having me, @HTBfocus".


Cuppy stressed that Christian music is upbeat and dynamic, dispelling any misconceptions.

She went on to say, "I was quite anxious about organizing a show featuring only Christian music, yet God challenged and guided me through it. And please don't get it twisted—Christian music is LIT! I am sincerely glad for this trip and the opportunity to communicate my beliefs via music!"
