Transfer: Arokodare remarks on Genk's leaving rumors.

Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare has expressed his wish to remain with Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk.

Arokodare has been linked with a move to Turkish club Trabzonspor this summer.

The 23-year-old has scored twice in Genk's first two games of the 2024/25 season.
The striker scored in the first day's 3-1 loss against OH Leuven.

Arokodare also scored goals as Genk recovered to defeat champions Club Brugge on Saturday.

"Only players who retire truly understand when it is their final match anyplace. As for me, this was not my final match for Genk, I believe," he told HLN.

"There are more bouts to come. Next week, we face Beerschot. I'm focused on that, not on rumors. I have a contract with Genk, and I shall honor it by doing my job.
