EPL: Manchester United suffers new injury setback before of Fulham clash.

Manchester United are poised to be without Luke Shaw for the first three Premier League games.

United acknowledged Shaw's calf injury in a statement on Tuesday night.

The left-back sustained the injury during training.

Shaw has not played for United since February, but helped England reach the Euro 2024 final.


The 29-year-old hopes to return after the first international break of the season in September.

"Luke Shaw will miss the opening games of the Premier League season due to a calf injury sustained at the start of pre-season training," according to the club's statement.

"He is working hard on his rehabilitation with a view to being available after the first international break."
