Ademola Lookman has stated that Atalanta would be looking to prove their value against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Gian Piero Gasperini's team will face Real Madrid at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, on Wednesday.

Atalanta won the UEFA Europa League in May, with Lookman scoring three goals in a 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

Lookman stated that he and his colleagues are excited to compete against Carlo Ancelotti's club and are eager to add to their title.

"I believe tomorrow night is a different occasion. Tomorrow's Super Cup match will be a different night. So I'm excited, happy to be engaged, and looking forward to it," the Nigeria international said during a news conference on Tuesday.

"It's not just me; I believe the entire squad is enthusiastic for the event. We deserve to be here because of our hard work and perseverance. Tomorrow night is another opportunity to demonstrate that."
