Chelsea revealed on Wednesday that their latest signing, Pedro Neto, will wear the number 19 shirt in the new Premier League season.

The west London club confirmed this in a statement on its website.

The Portuguese winger has recently joined Chelsea from Wolves.

"Pedro Neto will wear the number 19 shirt for Chelsea this season," the announcement said.

Neto has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2031.

He was introduced to Chelsea fans during halftime of their pre-season friendly 1-1 draw with Inter Milan.

Neto will be hoping to play for Enzo Maresca's side when they face Manchester City in the Premier League opener this weekend.
