Chike, a Nigerian singer, paid N1 million to a troll who made a harsh comment about him.

The incident took place on Twitter now X.

It all started after Chike published a video on his X profile and a troll left a comment claiming that late artist Mohbad'made' him.

The X user went on to say that if it hadn't been for Mohbad, Chike's song video would never have received 40 million views.
Chike was displeased with the user's comment, claiming that he lacked manners and should have done more research before making such a statement.

He went on to explain that he would have given the troll N1 million, but concerned that the man's account might collapse if he received such a sum.

The troll instantly revealed his account number, and Chike generously sent him N1 million.

While some Nigerians were pleasantly delighted, others questioned the exchange's authenticity.

"Hungry boy, go and eat." Chike provided a description for the transaction.
