Famous rapper Nicki Minaj has professed appreciation for Nigerian musician Ayodeji Balogun, often known as Wizkid.

During a recent stream on StationHead, the 'Queen of Rap' expressed "much love and respect" for Wizkid.

Minaj hailed the 'Ojuelegba' singer as "very chilled and smart."

She stated, "He [Wizkid] is a very cool, chill guy. He really is that man, and he is really brilliant. I have a lot of love and respect for him.

She also admitted that they met while she was recording her 2018 album 'Queen' in a studio in Queens, New York.

Despite rumors of a Wizkid and Nicki Minaj collaboration throughout the years, the two have yet to release a single together or confirm that they have an unreleased song.
