EPL: Arne Slot analyzed following his first win at Liverpool.

Mark Warburton, a football analyst, praised Liverpool manager Arne Slot after the club's 2-0 Premier League victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday.

He praised the Dutchman for his significant tactical shift at halftime, which helped Liverpool to a comfortable victory.

Liverpool got off to a winning start in the 2024-25 Premier League season, with Slot being the first Liverpool manager this century to win his first game in command.

The Merseyside giants struggled in the first half, with Kieran McKenna's side giving them a run for their money.

However, the Reds emerged as an entirely different team in the second half.

The manager aroused eyebrows by putting Jarrell Quansah alongside Virgil van Dijk in the centre of the defence instead of Ibrahima Konate.

However, at halfway, he replaced Quansah with Konate, and the game swung around.

Warburton told the BBC: "I saw no sign of injury with Jarell Quansah. Liam Delap was giving him a hard time near the end of the first half, so Arne Slot made a tactical move. And fair play to him.

Liverpool's goals were from Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah.
