EPL: Should I get more involved? - Haaland questions Guardiola following Chelsea's triumph.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has questioned manager Pep Guardiola on whether he should be more engaged in the team's play after scoring in a 2-0 victory over Chelsea.

Haaland is off to a good start in the Premier League, having scored at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Despite his impressive goalscoring record at the Etihad, the Norwegian has frequently been chastised for his lack of touches and involvement in games.

There's the 4-0 win over Bournemouth last season, when he had just eight touches.

Haaland scored 17 against Chelsea and later stated that his management wants to see him more involved in games.

He told Sky Sports, "The top players are the best at the simple things. Touch it with your right hand and pass it with your left. That is the most crucial thing. Pep tells me this all the time.

"I want to be more involved, like Pep wants. But, with games like this, do I need to be so involved? That is the million-dollar question. I want to get more assists and improve as a player.
