EndBadGovernance protest: 'Work just started' - Charly Boy

Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, a popular veteran entertainer, has stated that work has only just begun following the first day of the statewide EndBadGovernance demonstration.

Charly Boy believes Nigerians should keep up the pressure until the administration recognizes that the tide is changing.

He said that the protest demonstrated that the majority of Nigerians had realized that the administration did not care about them.

On Monday, Nigerians protested in large numbers across many states.

In response to the demonstration, Charly Boy wrote on X: "Brave, strong, and determined Nigerian youths, you make me proud today."

"First, Una, congrats on a job well done. But our work has only begun.

"As most of us awaken from our slumber, we realize that the government does not care about us, does not send us, and we do not go to pray for those who do not pray for us. We must keep working to reclaim our stolen future.

"Let's keep the pressure on, because this diabolical regime must realize that the tide is changing.
They will never feel safe again unless they start doing the right things.

"The salvation of Nigeria is in the hands of its Exceptional Youths. I Twale for Una.”
