Dammy Krane, a popular Nigerian artist, has accused Davido of arresting him for slander.

Dammy Krane claimed in a series of posts on his X handle that he had been wrongfully arrested by police on Davido's orders.

Following his detention, he claimed that he was going to be falsely accused of cryptocurrency fraud.

Lamenting, Dammy Krane implored netizens to hold Davido accountable if anything happened to him.

"If something happens to me, @davido should be held accountable. Oppressor @davido hired them to arrest me.

"They filed a petition falsely accusing me of being involved in Flutterwave and Crypto frauds in order to arrest me. This is how they keep employing bad cops to tarnish the reputation of the police," he wrote on X.

According to TalkTalk Nigeria, the confrontation between the two began in 2023 when Dammy Krane confronted Davido about a supposed debt.

In reaction, Davido called Dammy Krane ungrateful.

Krane has since been dragging Davido online. And accused him of being involved in the death of his friend, Tagbo Umeike, who died in 2017 from alleged alcohol poisoning following a birthday celebration at Shisha Lounge in Lekki, Lagos State.

Weighing in on the fight during a live performance on stage, renowned fuji artist Wasiu Ayinde, also known as KWAM 1 De Ultimate, urged Dammy Krane and Davido to accept peace.
