Manuel Neuer announced on Wednesday his retirement from international football with the German national team.

The 38-year-old revealed this in a video posted on his official Instagram account.

The Bayern Munich experienced shot-stopper represented Germany at the Euro 2024, when they were eliminated in the quarterfinals.

He played 124 games for Die Mannschaft and won the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

"Today marks the end of my career with the German national team," Neuer stated in a lengthy Instagram video message.
