Nigerian Rangers advanced to the first round of the CAF Champions League after a 1-1 draw against US Zilimadjou of the Comoros in Uyo on Friday.

The Flying Antelopes won the preliminary round match 2-1 on aggregate.

Rangers took the lead in the 79th minute when Kenechukwu Agu converted from the penalty spot.

However, the visitors equalised with six minutes remaining.

Remo Stars, Nigeria's other representative in the competition, will face AS FAR of Morocco on Sunday.

The Sky Blue Stars lead 2-1 from the first leg.
