Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has underlined the various roles Joao Felix will play in his squad.

Felix left Atletico Madrid this week in a £44.5 million transfer.

The Portugal international is set to make his Blues debut against Wolves on Sunday.

Maresca told reporters today, "For me, he can [play as a No.9] beautifully; slipping in and providing us an extra player when we need more passes or possession.

"And then he knows exactly when to attack.

"He can play as an attacking midfielder or outside, depending on the situation. He can play multiple positions."
