El-Kanemi Warriors were knocked out of the CAF Confederation Cup after losing 2-1 to Beninoise side Dadje FC in the second leg of their preliminary round match on Saturday.

The first leg between the two teams ended in a 1-1 stalemate in Ikenne last Saturday.

Dadje FC advanced to the first round, 3-2 on aggregate.

El-Kanemi Warriors' focus will now shift to the Nigeria Premier Football League and the President Federation Cup.

Enyimba, Nigeria's other CAF Confederation Cup representative, received a bye into the first round.

Enyimba hopes to become the first Nigerian club to win the championship.
