Pep Guardiola, Manchester City manager, has described Lionel Messi as the best complete striker he has ever seen.

Guardiola was addressing to the media following their 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday.

City won all three points, with Erling Haaland scoring his tenth hat-trick for the club.

However, Guardiola has stated that Haaland is not as complete as Messi, whom he coached for four years at Barcelona.

When asked if Haaland is the most complete center-forward we've seen in this game, Guardiola responded, "The most complete center forward ever seen is Lionel Messi."
