EPL: I was not thrilled - Maresca explains why he subbed out Chelsea forward against Wolves.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has revealed that he replaced Mykhailo Mudryk in their 6-2 victory over Wolves because he was dissatisfied with his performance.

Mudryk was given a start at Molineux as the Blues looked for their first victory of the season.

But at halfway, Maresca replaced the Ukraine winger with Pedro Neto.

Maresca was asked about the decision at his post-game press conference.

He responded, "I was not pleased. In some cases, we can handle circumstances better.

"He worked hard off the ball, but on the ball, I expected more from Misha. He had some fantastic moments tonight, but the goal was to vary things up and give Pedro some minutes."
