Isaac Freeman, a well-known American rapper and radio personality better known as Fatman Scoop, has died.

Rapper Fatman Scoop died at the age of 53 following a medical issue on stage during a concert.

On Saturday, his tour manager announced his death, saying he was 'lost for words.'

A viral video on social media showed Scoop collapsing on stage at Hamden Town Center Park, Connecticut, on Friday and being brought to the hospital.

He was observed struggling after climbing the stage at his farewell show before disappearing from sight, as medics attempted to save him.
