This season’s Big Brother house has always been a visual masterpiece, albeit with mixed reactions, but the general consensus is that the house is stunning this season! The house is also a lot bigger. The biggest they’ve ever had, actually. It would seem major renovations were under way all this time from the general lounge to rooms, dressing room, etc. The tour revealed a chic, modern design with vibrant colours and luxurious decor. The attention to detail and the fusion of comfort and elegance set a new standard for the show.

2. Housemates in Pairs

We’ve known for some time now that the housemates were coming in twos, but we didn’t anticipate how that would work until we saw them actually come in. It seems this twist will actually shake things up, making it all the more exciting. The contestants made their grand entrances in stunning outfits that showcased their unique personalities. From dazzling sequins to sharp suits, the housemates brought their fashion A-game, leaving viewers eager to see more of their style and charisma in the coming weeks.

3. Couple-Bestie Goals

Speaking of pairs, there have been married people on the show before, but not in this way; not an actual couple who are married to one another. Even more, while the audience knows they are married, their housemates will not. They are going in as besties! That’s not all still; although they’d been together for about ten years, they’d only been married for a few months. They are practically spending their honeymoon in Big Brother’s house. Risky much?

4. Big Brother for Family

This nearly takes us back to the days of Maltina Dance All, when different families competed against one another. Now, we have an aunt and her niece coming in as a pair. This definitely took everyone by surprise, but we’re here for all the surprises and exciting twists this season seems to have packed!

5. Two Twins

What’s a season with pairs if we don’t have twins? Big Brother gave us not one but two sets of identical twins! We particularly love the balance of seeing both male and female identical twins. We can’t wait to see what confusing twist Big Brother will play with this.

6. The Fashion

Starting with the host himself, Ebuka, who stunned as usual in 3 different exquisite outfits, all designed by Mai Atafo.

We’re also used to the housemates going all out for their outfits for the launch show, but we’ll have to say that the guys stole the show this year! We especially loved the agbadas adorned by Topher and Action Ben.

7. Host Tricks

Ebuka had us wide-eyed and off our seats for a moment when he announced, just after welcoming everyone into the house, that one pair would be leaving that same night.

We’re glad it was a joke, though, because otherwise, it would certainly have garnered mixed reactions from housemates and the audience.
