Nigerian artist Anthony Ebuka Victor, often known as Victony, has disclosed that he has undergone four operations and would have another one soon.

According to TalkTalk Nigeria, the musician survived a horrific vehicle accident in 2021, which left him in a coma for four days.

During an interview on the Adesope live part at the Afroland event, Victony stated that he is still recovering from four surgeries.

Speaking about his impending North American tour, the singer said that he takes pain medicines before playing on stage.

"Truthfully, I am blessed, and the world may see. I'm still recovering, but I can do this now. And I am about to go on tour.

"Thinking back to last year, even up until recently, I had four surgeries and want to do one more after the trip. But it remains a blessing. Going into and out of the hospital.

"I take pain medicines before performing on stage, yet I still record. I thank God for his grace, which is not based on power. I'm not his favourite child, so I'm not sure why he's rewarding me," he stated.

Recall that in February 2023, the singer declared a two-month hiatus from music following his third surgery.
