Remo Stars of the Nigeria Premier Football League have begun preparations for their CAF Champions League preliminary round meeting with Moroccan side AS FAR.

The Sky Blue Stars will host Morocco in the opening leg at Ikenne's Remo Stars Stadium.

The event is set for Sunday, August 18, 2024.

The reverse match will take place a week later.

On Friday, Daniel Ogunmodede's team held an intensive training session at their home ground.

"The preparation for AS FAR is on," the club posted on X.

The victor of the two-legged match will face either Sudan's El Merreikh or Kenya's Goh Mahia in the second preliminary round.

AS FAR eliminated Remo Stars in the preliminary round previous season.
