Afrobeats singer Ahmed Ololade, also known as Asake, has claimed that his Grammy-winning colleague Wizkid is one of his musical influences.


He revealed this while enjoying his cooperation with the 'Ojuelegba' singer on the recently released third studio album, 'Lungu Boy.'

In addition to their collaborative song on the project, 'MMS', which is available on digital streaming platforms, Asake added that he has been keen to collaborate with Wizkid.

He stated, "It's no secret that Wizkid is one of my musical idols. As a young aspiring artist in Lagos, I'd been waiting for the ideal song, so when the opportunity arose, it was a no-brainer.


"'MMS' stands for 'Mr Money Sound' and it explains my music journey."
