Clinton Jephta, Enyimba's forward, expressed his excitement after scoring against Heartland.

Jephta scored the second and third goals in Enyimba's 3-1 victory over Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday.

The former Niger Tornadoes striker explained the reason for his double strike.

"I feel so happy and feel so great for playing for the biggest club in the Nigeria Premier Football League," he said with the club's reporters.

"To be frank, I needed to step up my game with serious intensity, which helped me achieve my goals.

"I was so happy and so excited for the victory as well."
