Controversial Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has stated that ace rapper and YBNL leader Olamide is his musical godfather.

He revealed this during a recent interview with Echo Room.

According to Portable, Olamide was chastised for appearing on the remix of his breakout song 'Zazu' in 2021, but he has now gone global with a feature from British rapper Skepta.
"Olamide is my godfather. He brought me into the industry. I messaged him one day and inquired if he had any difficulties with me because he had stopped posting about me.

"When Olamide assisted me, others claimed he made a mistake. Look at me now: I've gone international, and Skepta has featured me. "I'm touring the world," he explained.
