Tems' 'Me & U' is my favorite song - 50 Cent
American rapper Curtis James Jackson III, nicknamed 50 Cent, has revealed his current fave song.
The hip-hop icon revealed in a viral interview video on Tuesday that his current favourite song is 'Me & U' by Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems.
"My current song on repeat is 'Me & U' by Tems," he informed me.
"Me & U" is the lead song from Tems' critically praised debut studio album "Born In The Wild."
The song stirred controversy as it received the Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the 2024 BET Awards, with her single 'Me & U'.
Critics said that a secular artist's song shouldn't have won the award ahead of gospel icons like Kirk Franklin and Shirley Caesar, CeCe Winans and the Maverick City Music.
