Shina Sanyaolu, renowned Nollywood producer and director, has died.

Sanyaolu is an important person in the Yoruba film industry.

Bolaji Amusan of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, or TAMPAN, revealed Sanyaolu's death in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

Bolaji captioned his picture, "Sleep well, Uncle Shina Sanyaolu."

The cause of his death is unknown, as industry colleagues resort to social media to pay their final respects.
