Bundesliga: Boniface explains his pants-down dance celebration after scoring twice for Bayer Leverkusen.

Victor Boniface, the Bayer Leverkusen striker, has explained why he pulled down his pants and danced after scoring a brace in his team's 4-1 Bundesliga win over Hoffenheim on Saturday.

The Nigerian extended Bayer Leverkusen's lead in the 30th minute, then dropped his pants to reveal his white cycling shorts on the touchline.

The 23-year-old then began dancing, and his colleagues joined in the celebration.

Following the revelry, Boniface pulled his pants back up.

When asked about the bizarre celebration, Boniface said it was inspired by a TikTok craze promoted by a Nigerian influencer.

"I don't want to upset anyone with it. "I only did it in front of our own fans," Boniface told Sky Germany's WELT.
