Despite losing to Dortmund in the UCL, Club Brugge's manager praises Onyedika.
Despite his team's defeat against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, Club Brugge manager Nicky Hayden singled out Raphael Onyedika for praise.
The Belgian Pro League winners fell 3-0 at home against the visitors.
Despite Brugge's defeat, Onyedika was superb, and Hayden praised his play.
"I am happy. The term "man of the match" may be exaggerated, yet considering his importance... He is a key player for us right now, both in possession and when we lose possession. "He helps other players improve," Hayden told reporters.
Club Brugge will play a league game against KAA Gent on Sunday.
Their next league game is on Wednesday, October 2 at Sturm Graz.
