Balancing career, family tough — Nuella Njubigbo
Actress, Nuella Njubigbo, has described balancing one’s career with taking care of a family as a tough task.
She told Saturday Beats, “It is a lot of work. Sometimes, I could be feeding my baby with one hand, while I am typing on the laptop with the other. I try to joggle everything together. For me, family comes first, so when I have to put a pause on work for like a day or two for the family, I do it. Most times, I try to balance things.”
The actress also stated that though there were times she was tempted to give it all up, she never succumbed to the temptation.
Speaking on some of the challenging decisions she had taken, she said, “I don’t want to talk about the most challenging decision I have made in my life. However, there were moments I thought I was going to give it all up, but I have never given it all up. When I say giving it all up, it is not in terms of killing myself, because I have never thought of that, no matter what I was going through. I have always believed that once there is life, there is hope. I have children and people who love me and look up to me, so I know who I am. I also know that God will always be there for me as long as my heart is clean.
Asked a question about the controversies trailing her marriages, the actress said, “People will always talk, and negativity thrives out there these days. I have always had a small circle, so I try to stay happy with the people who know me.
“What keeps me going is that when I read some stories, I know they are not true; so maybe that keeps me sane. I just stay true to myself and the people who love me.”
