DJ Cuppy makes history as the first Nigerian to host a youth session at UNGA.
Florence Otedola, commonly known as DJ Cuppy, a prominent disc jockey and the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has made history as the first Nigerian to host the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Cuppy moderated the Youth Action Day at the 2024 UNGA, titled "The Summit of the Future - Youth Actions Day."
Cuppy also gave a musical performance following her keynote presentation.
Her session was the largest youth gathering in UN Headquarters history.
Other attendees in the workshop include the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and Cape Verde's president, José Maria Neves.
