I don't take VeryDarkMan's supporters seriously—BBNaija Vee

Big Brother Naija reality star Victoria Iye, also known as Vee, has stated that she cannot take followers of President Bola Tinubu's administration and infamous self-styled campaigner VeryDarkMan, aka VDM, seriously.

According to her, their supporters require mental assessment.

Vee just published a video message on her TikTok profile.

She stated: "Personally, I judge anyone who supports the current Nigerian government. I am also judging VDM supporters.

"It's about time we began holding some people accountable. If you say something stupid or defend the wrong thing, I will cut you off.

"I do not believe in freedom fighters." I don't believe in an individual coming out and claiming to fight for Nigerians' rights. This does not make sense to me. I believe it should be a joint effort. I think everybody should be involved. And I definitely don’t think it should be VDM doing it.

"I don't have anything to say about the Falz versus VDM situation, by the way. They say he (Falz) is heading to court. Lovely. Aside from Falz, Bobrisky, and VDM's cases, I don't think anyone defending VDM is someone I want to talk to.

"This country does not make sense." People are hurting. People are hungry. Anyone backing this government should undergo mental assessment. Anyone defending VDM...? We do not even know what his [VDM's] accomplishments are. What is he trying to accomplish? Personally, I don't know, and I won't defend him. When I see a VDM video, I skip it. When they talk about the guy, I'll keep skipping."

TalkTalk Nigeria says that human rights lawyer Femi Falana rapper Falz gave VeryDarkMan a 24-hour ultimatum to retract his publication against them, alleging that they played roles in getting a soft landing for controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, during his jail sentence.

However, VDM responded with a video in which he denied defaming Chief Falana and rapper Falz.

Following his reluctance to retract his article, Femi Falana's daughter, Folakemi Falana, an entertainment lawyer and Falz's sister, threatened VDM with legal action.
