Samson Tijani, former Golden Eaglets captain, has joined Norwegian club Fredrikstad on loan.

Tijani will be at Fredrikstad until December 2024.

Austrian club RB Salzburg sent the midfielder out on loan.
The 22-year-old joined Red Bull Salzburg in 2020 but has struggled to make it into the first team.

The playmaker has made only three league appearances for Red Bull.

He has been on loan at TSV Hartberg, Lifering, and Wolfsberger.

Tijani led the Golden Eaglets to the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
