Anthony Joshua has received a 28-day boxing ban following his horrific defeat by Daniel Dubois last week.

Dubois knocked out the British fighter in the fifth round in front of 96,000 fans at Wembley.

With this win, the 27-year-old retained his IBF heavyweight title.
Throughout the match, Dubois knocked Joshua down four times.

As per protocol, Joshua is now barred from entering the ring for 28 days, with the British Boxing Board of Control implementing the restriction.

According to the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports, medical sanctions for fighters who suffer KO or TKO defeats are common procedure.
