Victor Osimhen has requested to wear the No. 45 shirt at Galatasaray.

The Nigerian striker is likely to sign a season-long loan from Napoli later today.

According to Nigerian broadcast journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, commonly known as Buchi Laba, Osimhen has chosen a specific number to wear.
Laba said on X Wednesday morning: "Excl: Victor Osimhen will wear number 45 at Galatasaray.

"He personally requested for that jersey number cos that was his good-luck number that he wore back at Belgian club Charleroi."

Osimhen wore the number 9 shirt at Napoli and his former club, Lille.

The 26-year-old also wears number nine for Nigeria's Super Eagles.
