'Stop killing, raping us': Ayra Starr demands justice for dead FUNAAB student.

Afrobeats musician Ayra Starr has condemned the cruel murder of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

According to TalkTalk Nigeria, Christianah was allegedly killed by her buddy Ayomide Adeleye, a reputed serial killer.

In a statement on her official X page, Ayra Starr decried the incident and urged for fast justice for the victim.

The artist underlined the critical need to combat violence against women, claiming that they deserve greater protection and treatment.

She wrote, "Quit killing us! Stop raping us. Women deserve better. #JusticeForChristianah.

yra Starr's complaint comes as an ongoing inquiry revealed that Adeleye, Christianah's close friend, kidnapped, murdered, and buried her on his land.

Adeleye has also been linked to the deaths of his ex-girlfriend and blood sister, which occurred in separate events in 2018 and 2020.
