Gospel Singer Moses Bliss Warns Against Fake Baby Pictures: A Call for Online Responsibility

Renowned gospel artist Moses Bliss has issued a firm warning to fans and social media users, urging them to stop sharing pictures of other babies falsely claimed to be his child. The plea came through a Facebook post on Tuesday, following the birth of his first child with his wife, Marie Bliss, on January 10, 2025.

The singer expressed gratitude for the love and excitement from fans but called for an end to the circulation of misleading images. He clarified that neither he nor his wife has shared a picture of their baby publicly.
Bliss wrote:

“Please stop circulating other people’s baby pictures as ours. We appreciate the love but let’s do the right thing. We have not posted our child. Let’s stop the AI images too. Pls.”

He also acknowledged the efforts of those helping to disseminate his message, adding that it has been challenging to address the barrage of baby pictures being sent to him from around the world.

A Broader Issue: Online Etiquette and Privacy

Bliss’s post sheds light on a growing issue of privacy invasion and misinformation in the age of social media. The excitement of fans is understandable, but the spread of false information, even if unintentional, can lead to confusion and unnecessary distress for public figures and their families.

This incident also highlights the need for social media users to exercise caution and verify information before sharing it. Fake AI-generated images further complicate the matter, as they blur the lines between reality and fabrication, making it even harder to separate fact from fiction.

Opinion: Respecting Boundaries in the Digital Age

As fans, celebrating the milestones of public figures we admire is natural, but respecting their boundaries is equally important. Moses Bliss’s call for restraint reminds us that celebrities are entitled to their privacy, especially when it involves their children.

Social media should be a tool for fostering positive connections, not a platform for spreading misinformation. Fans can support their favorite stars by respecting their wishes and engaging with verified content instead of indulging in speculative or false narratives.

Bliss’s message is clear: love and excitement are appreciated, but let’s channel them responsibly. As his family enjoys this precious time, respecting their privacy is the best way to show genuine support.
