Junior Lokosa Set for Enyimba Move: A New Chapter for the Former NPFL Goal King?

Former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) top scorer, Junior Lokosa, is on the verge of joining Enyimba FC, the reigning NPFL champions.

According to reports, Lokosa will sign a short-term contract with the People’s Elephant, marking a significant step in his career as he returns to a top-tier club in Nigerian football.

The 31-year-old striker made his mark in 2018, when he won the NPFL Golden Boot with 19 goals for Kano Pillars. His outstanding performance earned him a move to Esperance de Tunis, but he struggled for game time at the Tunisian giants.

After brief spells with Simba SC in Tanzania and Sporting Lagos in the NPFL, where he scored seven goals last season, Lokosa is now set to don the Enyimba jersey.

Can Lokosa Revive His Career at Enyimba?

Lokosa’s move to Enyimba is seen as an opportunity for him to reignite his career at the highest level of Nigerian football. While he remains a proven goal scorer, injuries and inconsistent form have hindered his progress in recent years.

Opinion: A Win-Win for Lokosa & Enyimba?

Lokosa’s move to Enyimba could be a career-reviving decision, but can he still deliver at the highest level?

🔹 Will Lokosa rediscover his goal-scoring form at Enyimba?
🔹 Does he still have what it takes to compete in the NPFL’s top clubs?
