I learnt so much after taking break from social media- BBNaija Peace

According to Reality TV star Peace Ogor, social media makes it easy for people to develop self-doubt and self-insufficiency.

Ogor, who just took a sabbatical from social media, said the experience allowed her to re-strategize and give herself the pep talk she needed to keep going.

"I learned that we all need a break!" she added as she described her experience. It's stimulating. The world moves at breakneck speed, and social media moves even faster. This makes it very simple for self-doubt and inadequacy to seep in. But that pause allowed me time to rethink my strategy and give myself the motivation I needed to keep going. " It was a combination of family time, adequate relaxation, more working, planning, and executions for me.

You’ll see what I came up with soon, it truly wasn’t all rest.”

The media influencer, who urged her teeming fans, particularly ladies, to put an end to abusive and toxic relationships, said a lot of women were majorly suffering from the phenomenon.

She, however, advised women to always stay alert to spot abusive or toxic signs in their relationships.

Ogor said, “I recently did a skit with some friends concerning this topic and we can all agree that it’s sensitive because of the damaging power that it carries. Abusive and toxic relationships could be physical, sexual or emotional and it doesn’t happen overnight, it takes time.

"It is cultivated, and 98 percent of the time it is deliberate." Unfortunately, as women, we are the majority of those affected by this issue, which means we must remain vigilant at all times in order to recognize patterns in their early phases. When the warning flags appear, physically leave the relationship and never look back."

The reality TV star described her experience on the BB9ja show as "bittersweet," adding that she has been investigating the options she received as a result of her participation in the show.

"It's been a whirlwind trip." It's odd because two years ago, I was the person who was always fighting to be heard and build a name for herself. Today, I'm still that girl who is continuously striving to better her yesterday self, enjoy her present self, and endeavor to improve her future self's living situations.

"I had a bitter-sweet experience with the celebrity that comes with the BB9ja show since it's such a trade-off." The disadvantage is that you will lose 95 percent of your privacy, while the advantage is that you will gain access. This access opens up unlimited possibilities for me, therefore the sacrifice is worthwhile," she remarked.
