Eld-El-Fitri: Sultan urges Muslims to look for Shawwal moon on
As the 1444 Hijra (2023) Ramadan draws to a close, the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), led by its president-general and Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, has given an important message to Nigerian Muslims. The council asked Muslims across the country to observe the Shawwal new moon on Thursday, April 20.
Musims receives an important Ramadan update. The NSCIA's director of administration, Arc. Zubairu Haruna Usman-Ugwu, made this announcement in a statement on Tuesday, April 18, according to Daily Trust.
