Police inaugurate special investigation team to probe Mohbad’s death
The Lagos State Police Command has formed a 13-member special investigative team to look into the untimely death of Nigerian artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, well known as Mohbad.
At a press conference on Monday, Lagos Commissioner of Police Idowu Owohunwa stated that the command will utilize all of its powers to find the killers.
"Remember, we have special access through INTERPOL." "Everyone connected to it (Mohbad's death) will be identified and brought to establish their level of involvement," Owohunwa said.
Mohbad, a former signee of Azeez Faashola's Marlian Records, popularly known as Naira Marley, died last Tuesday at the age of 27.
He was buried on Wednesday in the Lagos neighborhood of Ikorodu, where there had been some worry over his death.
