Fuji Supremacy: Taye Currency Issues Public Apology to Pasuma Over Remarks

Taye Currency, a popular Fuji artist, has officially apologized to his senior colleague, Pasuma, for his recent comment regarding him.

During a recent concert, Taye Currency expressed displeasure with fans calling Pasuma his 'father' in the music industry.
He mentioned that Pasuma is like an elder brother to him and cannot father him. A comment that has sparked outrage on social media.

In reaction to the outrage, Taye Currency apologized in a viral video to Pasuma and anyone else who was offended by his views, claiming that his words had been misconstrued.

While expressing sorry for any offense caused by his statements, he stated, "Good day, everyone. My name is Alhaji Taye Currency. Following a recent report on social media, I would want to greet our people and those who love us, especially Pasuma’s supporters and the lovers of Fuji music in general.

"Those who misconstrued my remarks should not be upset. I genuinely apologize for what occurred since people interpret words differently, which is what I've come to understand.

Some people have taken my statements as an insult to Pasuma, but I don't understand how anyone can claim anything I said was harsh. He is my boss. Arabanbi, Apesin, and Oganla Fuji. We are one; please do not separate us.

"My boss is Alhaji Alabi Pasuma." He knows I am faithful to him. To avoid appearing impolite, I apologize to Pasuma. You're an elder. I apologize to Pasuma's fan group, and one love to Taye Currency fans. Alhaji Alao, please do not be furious," he added in Yoruba.

Taye Currency began his music career as a teenager and attributes his success to his unwavering character and the essential tutelage of his industry mentor, Pasuma.
